How coaching works...
Susan creates a team approach with the parents or foster parents and others whom the parents would like to include such as grandparents, babysitters, teachers, and therapists in order to help adopitve and foster families with adoptive parenting issues. She helps you identify your parenting strengths and minimize your weaknesses. She helps create a plan to meet your parenting goals and help your adopted child.
Parent coaching provides specific tips and techniques, on-going support, and accountability. Start your older child adoptive parent coaching with Susan in order to discover solutions to your parenting challenges and create a strong, connected adoptive or foster family. Most parent consulting is done by phone, Skype, or email. However, sometimes in-home parent coaching is what's needed. $55 per hour for 1 - 3 sessions, via phone or Skype
$52 per hour for 4 - 9 sessions, phone or Skype
$49 per hour for 10 or more sessions, via phone or Skype
Follow-up email summaries are an additional $20 per session
Email coaching is $35 per email response, including one follow-up email question.
First 30 minute session or email is FREE
In-home parent consulting is $430 per day, plus travel, meals, and accommodations. Generally, this combines parent coaching as well as demonstration of the techniques.
